They Are Not Gone Yet

Since the election is winding down.  I got thinking about George Bush and Dick Cheney once again.

I got to thinking about these two individuals who have overseen the destruction of the middle class in America.  These two individuals that promoted and connived and plotted and enabled the exodus of jobs from American shores and with them America’s livelihood and the livelihood of so many millions of families.

I got to thinking once again about these two politicians that opened up the American treasury to every special interest that ever gave them a dime for an election campaign.  How these two have ushered in the second coming of the robber barons.

I thought again of how these two took the worst attack on the United States in history by a foreign power and politicized it for their own ends.  How they used it to get re-elected.  How they used it to frighten us.  How they used it to divide us.  How they have used it and used it and used it.  And how they have used us.

I remember again the lies they used to garner support for a war on a country that did us no harm.  I remember how these two committed blatant treason in order to protect their lies and keep the truth from being told.

I remember how these two bastards lied us into this unneccessary Iraq War.  I remember the 100’s of thousands of Iraqis that have been slaughtered unnecessarily.  I remember the 10’s of thousands of my neighbors and my neighbors’ children who have returned home permanantly disabled, disfigured, and scarred.  And I certainly remember the 4189 of my neighbors and my neighbors’ children that made the ultimate sacrifice in this war.  And I dearly wish it had not been so unnecessary.

I remember all of these things and I remember a whole lot more that I just do not feel like writing down.

This election is about change.  And as Bruce Springsteen so eloquently put it, We are at the crossroads.”  Please read John Nichols Blog where he publishes Bruce Springsteen’s message: http://www.thenation.com/blogs/campaignmatters/379497/springsteen_we_are_at_the_crossroads .  I cannot say these things better.

I also cannot forget that George Bush and Dick Cheney are still in office.  No, they are not gone yet.  They are still plotting and planning and conniving to destroy what remains of America before they leave.  John McCain and Sarah Palin will continue the policies of George Bush and Dick Cheney if they get the chance.  That’s why it is so important to elect Barack Obama this November 4.  Please, please get out there and vote.

The Real Goals of John McCain, Sarah Palin, and the Republican Party

John McCain made two very illuminating statements early on in his Presidential campaign that Americans seem to have forgotten.

1)  That we will be in Iraq for 100 years.

2)  That there will be many many more wars.

The American People need to understand that WAR is what John McCain is about.  He is the Industrial Military Complex’ dream.  What does he tout most about his credentials?  His war record.  War is central to his thinking and his psyche.  Never mind that John McCain was not even very good at making war.  He crashed three airplanes and his aircraft was involved in starting the disastrous events of the accident on board the U.S.S. Forrestal.  John McCain was a heroic leader as a POW, however, and that is the highlight of his military career.  War has also been his forte′ throughout his political career.  War has been his bread and butter.

John McCain eats, sleeps, and breathes war.  If John McCain is elected President, the United States of America will see many wars in rapid succession.  There will be Iran, the groundwork for which has already been laid out by George Bush and Dick Cheney.  The current administration is so intent upon an Iran War that they might start it before they leave office just to ensure that the United States is in it.  Or more likely, they will have Israel start it so that we can finish it.  In either event, soon after, or perhaps even during, John McCain will either turn the attention to the Americas and go after Venezuela or he will take us back into North Korea or he will move on to some other country in the middle east.

This is what is in store for the United States with a John McCain Presidency.  Be very afraid.

John McCain and Sarah Palin Planning Iran War?

In this clip, entitled White House Vision, with Fox’s Gretta Sustern interviewing Sarah Palin, Palin says that McCain and her talk about shoring up the strategies in Iraq and Iran to win these wars.  Did she just make a gaffe and tell us that John McCain planning to go to war with Iran?  The comment occurs about 2:10 into the clip.
