The FDA has recently found melamine in US infant formula. Yet the FDA refuses to issue any recalls for any products. This is outrageous. In my book, there are no acceptable levels of poison in infant formula. The FDA’s refusal to take swift action here makes them complicit in this crime.
Once again these Republicans corporate shills have put corporate profit ahead of the health and well being of the American people. Are they waiting for babies to die? No amount of money is worth even one baby being hurt by melamine! Recall it all NOW! No melamine, period!

as a father of 2 a 7 weeks old and a almost three year old the whole subject has me to the point of flipping out. and the FDA only releasing infomation b/c the AP sued them to release that information. Then w/o any test what so ever when in september of o8 when all the melamine was killing and making babies sick in china on there web site they said there are no safe levels of this chemical for any human, then it is found in american formula and suddenly its 1 part per million is ok… the sad part is the stupid american people believed them. seems to me like the food and drug administration is trying to kill us off… and i believe if enough people stand up and fight back they will be forced to recall and take actions against this crime.

This is what happens when the corporations are allowed to police themselves. They kill people. The Bush Administration has effectively neutored the FDA (that is, they cut their balls right off) and installed political hacks in every office of any significance. So now if there is a problem with a food that a corporation is producing, the FDA helps them to cover it up.
